Tuesday 19 September – 9:30AM – AADA Central
Following the Opening Breakfast, Macquarie brings us the AADA General Session featuring federal Minister for Urban Infrastructure, Paul Fletcher.
AADA prides itself on attracting keynote speakers in positions of power and influence, with something real and important to say about our industry, and this year is no exception.
The Minister for Urban Infrastructure heads the department responsible for our industry. The former management consultant, corporate lawyer and strategist has an MBA from Columbia University. His experience in the private sector added to his government role gives him a unique perspective on the issues facing our industry.
Mr Fletcher has been the Liberal Member for Bradfield, in Sydney’s North Shore area, since 2009. He has also served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications, and as Minister for Major Projects, Territories and Local Government.
Mr Fletcher is responsible for delivering on the Australian Government’s urban infrastructure agenda and is working in close consultation with developers of autonomous vehicles. He has his finger on the pulse of many of the issues facing our industry and is sure to have much of value to say.
