The AADA Expo has always been a popular destination for delegates between sessions, but this year we’re taking it to another level, with the news that you will now be able to explore the vast array of innovative products, services and new technologies after the sun goes down.
The AADA Expo will be re-invigorated for 2017, with more exhibitors than ever before and a new exhibitor-friendly layout. The AADA Expo will be open between 6:30am through to 10:00pm on the Tuesday and 6:30am to 5:00pm on Wednesday.
As always, the AADA Expo will showcase new products and services designed to improve your bottom line. Whether it be after-market, insurance, finance, marketing, software, customer retention, or any other aspect of dealership operations, you can bet there will be something for you.
AADA Central is the hub of all catered functions and plenary sessions for the 2017 AADA National Dealer Convention. Located inside the Expo this will create a focused energy, and having everything centrally located is great for convenience.
AADA Expo Meeting Rooms
As a tribute to some of the most influential people in the history of our industry, we have named the four meeting rooms we will be using at the Convention in their honour.
These four men played key roles in the retail automotive industry, becoming legends in their fields. We are proud to honour them in this way.
Laurie Sutton Room: Laurie Sutton, who was the innovative CEO of Suttons Motor Group, which owns and operates 52 dealerships representing more than 20 marques. Laurie continues to be involved in the Suttons Motor Group in a very pivotal way.
George Altomonte Room: George Altomonte was the father of the MTAA. His career in the retail automotive industry grew from a workshop in 1956 to an empire selling 12,000 and servicing 65,000 vehicles a year, employing more than 700 people.
Peter Warren Room: Peter Warren founded the group named after him in 1958, beginning with a small used car yard, gaining a Volkswagen franchise the following year,and ultimately leading it to grow to a large dealership group employing 900 people and representing 23 brands.
Michael Tynan Room: Michael Tynan was an entrepreneur, businessman, philanthropist, influencer and above all a family man. Michael started Tynan Motors on St Patrick’s Day 1966 with one franchise Mazda in a total service station. Today Tynan’s employ over 350 staff, representing 18 franchises in 8 different locations. Michael served on the MTA & NRMA Board for 12 years and The Sutherland Shire Council for 18 years.
With extended opening hours, if you don’t have time to get around the Expo during the day you can make up for lost time at night. So you have no excuse not to see everything!
