Following the Opening Breakfast, the AADA General Session brings you a variety of speakers covering a range of issues pertinent to all aspects of the modern dealership. The General Session also features the Annual General Meeting of AADA, so it is important you attend to have your say in the running of your association.
This session is designed not just for Dealer Principals (although we strongly recommend they attend!) but also leaders and managers in the Sales, Finance, Marketing and Service departments. Basically, if they are an important leader in your business, they should see this session!
The address by Federal Minister for Urban Infrastructure, Paul Fletcher, comprises part of this session with the balance made up of talks from some of AADA’s leaders and key policy and advocacy thinkers.
CEO David Blackhall and Chairman Terry Keating work passionately and tirelessly on behalf of Dealers, and both are keen to convey to members exactly what they have been and will be doing to advance the interests of our industry and position us all to thrive into the future.
Similarly, Doug Dickson, Independent Chairman of the Australian Motor Dealer Council which formed two years ago, will explain his role and that of the AMDC in working alongside AADA on advocacy and policy matters.
We keep using this word ‘advocacy’ because it is such a crucial ingredient in what AADA does.
In order to best achieve this we have a range of experts in the field who are also part of this session. Philip Hardy and Evan Stents are leaders in their fields and make a valuable contribution to our association.
