Ben Richardson

Ben Richardson is Cyber Product Lead at QBE Insurance, leading the insurer’s global cyber product locally across Australia.

With more than 14 years’ experience at QBE, Ben has worked across the Financial Lines portfolio, including Directors and Officers, Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice, IT Liability and Cyber insurance. He previously led QBE’s NSW Financial Lines team as State Manager before moving into his current national cyber product role.

Ben brings deep expertise in cyber risk, financial lines insurance and the evolving exposures facing Australian businesses. His work focuses on helping organisations better understand, assess and respond to cyber risk in an increasingly complex digital environment.

As a AADA 2026 Workshop Series Presenter, Ben brings a practical insurance perspective on cyber risk, business resilience and the controls dealers should be considering as automotive retail becomes more digitally connected.
