Grant Cameron is a Partner in BDO Australia’s Business Services team in Sydney, with more than 25 years’ experience in the automotive industry.

Grant specialises in advising large family-owned and operated dealer groups across the retail automotive sector. His work spans strategic planning, family tax and succession planning, dealership purchase and sale, dealership tax, accounting and audit compliance, asset security, employee fraud, profit leaks and operational performance.

He works with an extensive dealer portfolio, including high net worth families in the motor industry across Sydney and throughout Australia. His expertise includes business valuations and due diligence, profitability enhancement, benchmarking, fixed operations training, operational reviews, budgeting, dealer accountant training, human capital services and remuneration reviews.

A Registered Tax Agent, Member of CA ANZ and holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, Grant brings a highly practical commercial perspective to dealership performance, profitability and long-term business planning.

As a AADA 2026 Main Stage panellist, Grant brings deep experience in dealer benchmarking, financial performance, succession planning and the commercial levers that help automotive retailers build stronger, more resilient businesses.
