Michael Croxon

Michael Croxon is Chair of the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association and President & CEO of NewRoads Automotive Group.

As Chair of CADA, Michael represents Canada’s franchised new car dealer network at a time of significant change across automotive retail, including consolidation, evolving customer expectations, electrification, manufacturer relations and the long-term role of dealers in their communities.

Michael has spent much of his career in the family automotive business. The Croxon family has been part of Ontario’s automotive retail industry for decades, with roots tracing back to North York Chevrolet Oldsmobile, acquired in 1968 by his late father, Noel Croxon, and two partners.

Michael joined the family business full time in 1987 and became Dealer Operator in 1993. Under his leadership, NewRoads Automotive Group grew in Ontario’s Newmarket–Aurora region across multiple automotive brands and built a strong reputation for customer service, community engagement and long-term investment in its people.

As a AADA 2026 Main Stage panellist, Michael brings a Canadian dealer perspective on global disruption, franchise retail, consolidation, customer relationships and the importance of strong dealer representation in a changing market.
