Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is Chief Operating Officer at SalesLogs and a self-confessed automotive data nerd.

He has worked across the dealership floor, including roles as a salesperson, sales manager and general manager, before moving into the vendor space to combine his passion for automotive with technology, data and operational discipline.

At SalesLogs, Michael leads operations and the company’s HubSpot Platinum Partner work, supporting dealer groups across Australia, New Zealand and North America. His focus is on the unglamorous work that quietly drives profitability: process, accountability, real-time visibility and ensuring the right platforms are doing the right jobs.

Returning to AADA after presenting Mastering Data in 2025, Michael brings a practical, dealership-grounded perspective on the operational blind spots that can affect performance, profitability and accountability.

As a AADA 2026 Workshop Series Presenter, Michael will share practical insight into how dealers can improve visibility, strengthen accountability and address the process gaps that quietly erode dealership performance.
