Paul Maric

Paul is the founder of CarExpert, having started his journey in car writing at 17 with his first website. He sold this venture to CarAdvice and later pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) while freelancing in journalism.

After five years in the engineering field and various freelance roles, Paul returned to his passion for cars with CarAdvice, which was eventually acquired by Nine Entertainment Group. In 2019, alongside Tony and Alborz, he co-founded CarExpert, assembling a talented team of journalists and content creators.

Today, Paul leads CarExpert’s dedicated team, producing content aimed at helping readers make informed car choices. His goal is to ensure that readers never waste money on unsuitable vehicles.
