Allied Credit, an independent non-bank asset finance business, is the brand behind multiple automotive and recreational vehicle brands.

When the Company was established almost 15 years ago, we sought to meet the demand from recreational manufacturers, distributors and dealership groups for branded retail and floorplan finance solutions.

Initially, this came from partnering with some of Australia’s biggest names in motorcycling, marine and recreation vehicles. These partners, including Kawasaki, Mercury Marine and Triumph Motorcycles, continue to do business with us today.

Since 2018, we have also offered a range of finance solutions for the automotive industry. Our subsequent success in this sector has resulted in Allied Credit holding a commanding position in automotive finance as the No. 1 independent financier, with an unrivalled stable of over 30 local and international brands, and a network of 450+ dealers driving our rapid growth.

Reflecting our ongoing growth, particularly in new retail business and the accreditation of new dealer partners, we have completed numerous asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions totalling over A$2,500 billion since our first in October 2020. Our most recent A$1,035 billion ABS transaction was our largest ever – more than double the size of our largest previous deal – and was supported by both domestic and overseas investors.

We have always been committed to adding value to our partners’ businesses and collaborating to drive the best possible customer experience.

Our business model in consumer and commercial finance is unique. It has been developed by innovating to meet the differing and changing needs of introducers, dealers, distributors, and manufacturers delivering significant value creation and benefits over traditional finance solutions.

Our range of finance solutions includes three partnership options that facilitate finance originated by introducers whether at the point of sale, in-dealership or online, and floorplan finance:

Joint Venture partnerships: Suitable for OEMs and big dealer groups, our unique JV model enables our partners to invest alongside Allied Credit in their own finance company. We provide the operational capability, funding, financial reporting, and credit licence, while our partners, deliver the channel to origination and market expertise. It is a powerful combination.

White Label partnerships: Suitable for OEMs or large dealer/introducer groups, our branded finance option surrounds manufacturer’s customers with their brand right through the process of buying, financing, and owning the asset. Allied Credit owns the contracts originated through the program.

Retail finance: A standard introducer-financier partnership for dealers under one of Allied Credit’s own finance brands.

Floorplan finance: For distributors and their dealer network. Our wholesale floorplan finance business helps finance inventory efficiently.

These competitively priced finance solutions are delivered through our proprietary Lightning POS system – a custom-built and introducer-centric loan origination system with a reputation for simplifying the credit application process – and our dedicated team of experts.
