AADA MONEYME Autopay General Session

The AADA General Session is the cornerstone of the AADA Convention, and this year we are delighted to welcome back Anjali Rao as Host for the 2023 AADA Convention & Expo.

James Voortman will deliver the AADA Opening Statement reporting on the work that AADA has completed on behalf of new car franchised dealers over the past year, and detail other aspects of AADA’s ongoing policy challenges in the year ahead.

Mark Ward, Randall Bryson & Grant Cameron from BDO will follow with comprehensive look at the last year including industry financial performance, buy-sell activity and changes in franchise arrangements.

Ren Blanning, Head of Retail Growth at carsales, with most sales coming from digital sources, it’s crucial to understand key success metrics and the automotive market landscape. Ren’s presentation will give dealers all the numbers to maximise these opportunities.

To close the AADA General Session, Jason Murray from Angle Auto Finance will present a Dealership F&I Case Study on this vital area of dealership operations. Data collected by RFI Global found 44% of dealership customers thought about their financing options before commencing the purchasing process, underpinning why F&I performance has remained largely static or declined in recent years.

Welcome & AADA CEO Opening Statement

Anjali Rao, Convention Host, will welcome all delegates in our first plenary session of the 2023 AADA Convention and Expo, with a comprehensive overview of our two-day program at ICC Sydney.

AADA CEO James Voortman will follow with outline on key priorities for AADA in his Opening statement. AADA has continued to represent and advocate for Franchised New Car Dealers on a range of issues with automotive franchising remaining at the top of the agenda, including the need to ensure contract protections for all Dealer franchisees.
